Dr. Ven Patnam
GDC reg. no: 247346
Dr. Ven Patnam qualified in dentistry in India in 1999. He has completed a full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Clinical Sciences at The Royal London School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of London and passed the Overseas Registration Examination set by the General Dental Council.
In addition, Dr. Ven Patnam has qualifications in Implant dentistry from the UK and has completed the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry National Sedation Course for dentists.
He also welcomes patients who suffer dental anxiety and phobias and he believes that everyone should be able to smile with confidence.
During the last 11 years, he has worked in various hospitals and dental clinics in the UK.
In his spare time, Ven likes to spend time with his family and enjoys playing and watching cricket.

Dr Ruth Skinner, qualified from Guys Kings and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry in London in 2007. She returned home to Norfolk to complete her vocational training and consolidated her general dental practitioner role with a further year as an associate. She spent a couple of inspiring years back in London working as a Senior House Officer and developed a special interest in Oral Surgery, working in District General Hospitals and currently maintains this interest working part-time as a specialty doctor at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. Over the years she has worked in dental practices alongside this special interest and is able to provide sedation to nervous patients.
Ruth is married with 2 young children and longs for the time she can take them on hikes in mountains. For now, outdoor rambles with her family and dog ensue, exploring waterways in the warmer weather and striving to become a better gardener. She is also passionate about food, music, arts and culture.
Dr. Swapna Reddy

Dr Reddy graduated in the year 2002 in India, she worked a few years there before, and she relocated to the UK and completed her overseas registration exam held in the UK in 2012.
Dr Reddy trained and worked in Newcastle upon Tyne for 5 years and then moved to Norwich in 2017 with her family and been working here since. Dr Reddy would like to pursue her career in aesthetic dentistry and also have a special interest in Invisalign, endodontics and treating nervous patients.
Dr Reddy joined Diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry to enhance her skills and she likes to do her best in achieving a high level of standard inpatient care, and she is planning to pursue her career for a longer-term at Pearl Dental Surgery.
Dr Reddy lives close to Pearl Dental Surgery with her family, Her Husband is a consultant Microbiologist in Norfolk Norwich University Hospitals.
Her hobbies are reading books and like to draw pencil sketches in her free time.
Dr. Naj Imam

Naj graduated from King’s College London in 2011. He even found time during his dental degree to take a year out and obtain another bachelor’s degree in growing teeth using stem cells. This research was subsequently published in internationally-renowned peer-reviewed journals.
From there he worked in both general dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery in North London before going in search of a more sunnier climate to Australia in 2013. He worked exclusively in private practice near both Melbourne and Sydney, all while enjoying the lifestyle benefits the country had to offer. He can now count scuba diving as one of his passions!
Whilst there he also obtained a postgraduate certificate in prosthodontics (replacing missing teeth) and aesthetic medicine. After 7 years in Australia, he decided to come back to the UK to be closer to friends and family and lay down permanent roots within the Norwich community.
His takes great pride in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. He has made beautiful smiles for many patients over the years and these can be seen on his professional Instagram page, @naj_the_dentist.
When he isn’t obsessing over how to make these amazing smiles, he enjoys racquet sports, graphic design, travelling and looking after his cat!
Dr Kalpana Patel

Dr Kalpana Patel qualified BDS in the year 2000 from Nagpur, relocated to the UK in 2003 and qualified Overseas Registration Examinations conducted by General Dental Council. UK
Since then Dr Patel worked at Norfolk and Norwich University, James Paget hospital Oral Surgery Departments, and at Siskin Dental Centre, performing minor oral surgeries, assisting with major operations including trauma and providing treatment for anxious patients under sedation.
For the last 10 years Dr Patel working in Norwich dental practice proving dental care.
She has special interests in Oral Surgery and Endodontics.
In her leisure time, Dr Patel enjoys travelling, wild photography and watching cricket.
Dr Roberta Prando de Almeida

Roberta Prando de Almeida qualified in 2014 from Brazil and relocated to Norwich, Roberta is passionate about all things dentistry. She loves explaining all that goes on with your teeth, gums, jaw and face muscles.
She focuses on building relationships with her patients and empowering them to understand their periodontal and oral health.
Roberta has recently completed a mastership program in the field of Biomimetic dentistry which focuses on preserving tooth structure and restoring teeth back to the function of natural teeth.
In her downtime you will find her making playlists on Spotify (soundtracks are so important), sending voice messages to her friends and family (who has time to type) and looking at pictures of teeth.

Philippa qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2004 from the Royal Air Force and settled in Norwich in 2002.
philipaShe enjoys helping people to maintain healthy mouths by giving them the best advice tailored to their individual needs, she tries to make people feel at ease with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Outside of work Philippa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling and countryside walks.

Eimear is from Derry Ireland. Her dental career started in 2016 when she started working as a dental nurse. Eimear moved to Sheffield in 2018 to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy and qualified in June 2020.
Eimear is Passionate about preventative dentistry and maintaining Oral Health and enjoys the cosmetic side of dentistry. She is due to complete the Botox/Fillers course in March 2021. In her spare time, Eimear enjoys walking, volunteering, and watching the soaps!
